The New Year Eve Grand Bazaar and Festival will be held from August 19 to September 10, 2016.This event includes event mixes like various contests, cultural and modern musical performances and bazaar . It is expected that the number of exhibitors who occupy a minimum of 9m2 booth will be about 400 and the average number of daily visitors will be about 20,000 .

Organized by the Trade Bureau of the Addis Ababa City Administration in collaboration with the Federal Cooperatives Agency, the Event was held from June 9 to 12, 2016. Apart from the Exhibition and Bazaar at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Center various side events like discussion programmes at the Ghion Hotel and Conference at ECA Conference Hall were held. The ECMDE sponsored some of the programmes.
